I believe in the power of personal growth and self-work/self-awareness because most of the time in life, we can’t change anyone except ourselves; working on yourself is the best way to overcome all the struggles in life through developing coping skills and improve distress tolerance. These skills and tools allow us to face challenging situations and thrive.
I specialize in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, a modality designed to help individuals process and integrate traumatic life events. My clinical focus is particularly centered on intergenerational trauma within immigrant families. I support clients navigating the long-term effects of being raised by emotionally immature or unavailable caregivers, helping them resolve the attachment wounds that often stem from such environments. Additionally, I utilize EMDR to treat acute trauma, such as motor vehicle accidents and other distressing life disruptions.
Psychosis prevention and treatment, I have many years of experiences treating clients with Schizophrenia Disorder and other related disorders.
Anxiety and depression treatment, learn useful tools to help managing and improving symptoms.
